How to summon a lover

In order for this to work, you must feel some love towards your object of affection. Choose a night during the cycle of the full or waxing moon, for at this time magick is most effective. You must be in private, wherever you feel most comfortable, and always in private. Make a magick circle by drawing it on the ground or with a ring of special stones you have picked for the purpose from the banks of a river or stream. Come into your sacred space with your tools of magick - dagger, wand, cup and pentacle, and bring a glass bowl filled with pure spring water. Bring also red roses, but make sure to cut off the thorns for if they enter your circle the spell will be corrupted. Once you have entered the magick circle, honor the Four Directions, and at each point give blessings. Place your dagger to the east, to the south, the wooden wand, and in the west a bowl of water. Finally place your pentacle in the North. On your altar place a dish of salt, the chalice for your magick. If there are any other magickal items, place them here also. Now build the magick into the circle by dancing your love into the four quarter. Commencing within the East and clasping a rose to your heart intone these words..

'I touch love '

Then freewheeling to the South, hold the rose to your chest and say..

'I see love coming '

Dancing to the west, hold the rose to your heart and repeat..

'I taste love', and kiss the petals

Dance to the North, draw the rose to your face and say..

'I smell the sweet scent of love'

Move to the centre of the magick circle and reflect upon the purpose of your love. Inton these words..

'Love is before me

Love is behind me

Love is beside me

Love is above me

Love is below me

Love is within me'

Taking the chalice of water within your hand and facing to the East, gaze into the waters. Gaze deeply, hold long and true to your heart's intent, and call for The Mistress Of The Waters to guide you. In time a mist will come upon the surface of the water, and will rise up around you, filling you with enchantment. Now, with all your powers of intent, have it come to pass that your love should appear before you, you shall conjure this person into your heart's eye. Imagine your love as it should be, and holding these feelings take your peace, take leave of the magick circle..
